Our MBA program requires 36 semester credit hours. The University of Scranton's online MBA degree provides you with the comprehensive, practical and interdisciplinary set of core business competencies required for the general management of an enterprise. Generally, students in the MBA program begin with a 3-credit cornerstone course, MGT 501: Responsibility, Sustainability and Justice, which focuses on one of the most significant concepts of the 21st century. Sustainable development (SD) involves ethical, social, environmental and economic issues. The course will analyze and reflect on the relationship between SD, business and all affected stakeholders through case studies, reading, discussions, and applied assignments. The program emphasizes the integration of technology and business, and maintains a strong focus on globalization throughout the curriculum.

The program culminates with MGT 509: Business Policy, where students examine strategic policy issues of business organizations. The course draws on all of the functional areas in the MBA curriculum, and provides a capstone experience for students to develop, present and defend their own policy solutions for a real company.
